Position Overview
The Senior Technical Project Manager is entrusted by the organization to lead the implementation of large technical projects. This position requires a results oriented leader visible across the organization as having single point responsibility for the management and execution results of assigned projects.
The Senior Technical Project Manager works with the Professional Services team, external vendors, and suppliers and with the various business units within the Operations department in initiating, structuring, managing, staffing and directing the successful delivery of assigned projects

Key Deliverables during First 12 to 24 Months
- Lead, develop and tightly manage projects in a complex environment with multiple business customers and alliances.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and managing all project aspects (schedule, risk, cost, etc.).
- Implement project management tools and methodologies.
- Manage outsourced/vendor relationships.
- Adheres to quality plan execution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
- PMP Certified.
- 12+ years leading the implementation of complex projects in the Engineering, Healthcare or High Technology verticals.
- Strong background in IT Infrastructure project management and working knowledge of infrastructure.
- Willingness and ability to travel, as required.
- Seasoned with demonstrative work experience in information systems, project management, cost/benefit analysis and client support.
- Experience in managing outsourced/vendor relationships.
- 12+ years of experience in the utilization of project management tools, methodologies, resource management, financial management and staffing of projects.
- Ability to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders, being flexible, providing timely responses, having strong listening skills and a big picture mentality.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
- Experience in building strong relationships.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and tightly manage projects in a complex environment with multiple business customers and alliances.
- Ability to organize and analyze data and report to executive level management.
- Proven team building, leadership and project management skills and experience in implementing complex I.T. related projects.
- Ability to provide management oversight to a large portfolio of Infrastructure project.
- Ability to coach and mentor Project Managers and other junior I.T. staff.
