People & Culture Generalist

Position Overview
The People & Culture (HR) Generalist will provide HR operational support, and will help implement and administer innovative, industry-leading HR programs, policies and practices. You will be a key contributor as Kallo builds a world-class organization, team, and culture.

Accountabilities

  • Manage HR Orientation and Onboarding process, and enhance as needed.
  • Manage HR Administration, including HRIS, employee files, benefits enrolment, etc.
  • Supports all Kallo initiatives designed to maximize employee satisfaction and build and reinforce the company culture. Works with Director – People & Culture and Manager – People & Culture to proactively identify people implications of these initiatives and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in developing and administering Kallo Learning programs, according to skills gaps identified during hiring process.
  • Deliver training on Kallo programs to Managers and employees.
  • Assist with recruiting for mid-to-senior open positions.
  • Ensure Organization Charts are always up-to-date.
  • Propose new or improved methods of completing various tasks and projects deliverables.

Key Deliverables during First 12 to 24 Months

  • Develop, implement and manage Kallo Service Awards program.
  • Draft or update job descriptions for all open positions and then post on Kallo website.
  • Help to develop, implement and maintain HR Intranet.
  • Recruit strong candidates for open positions, and maintain pro-active talent pool.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree and 2-3 years of Human Resources experience.
