SAP Administrator

Position Overview
Reporting to the Director – Technology, the SAP System Administrator will be responsible for managing and operating Kallo's SAP systems, and its integration with other key systems. This may include key tasks such as installing, configuring, bug-fix patching, upgrading, and maintaining the sustained operability of Kallo’s SAP applications, across production and test/development environments. The individual will also be helping with planning and coordinating change management of key processes required for supporting Kallo Inc.


  • Executes on daily administrative tasks of an SAP system, including installing, configuring, upgrading, and fixing issues.
  • Maintains SAP and database environments (test, development) with appropriate data sets, including refresh activities from production to test and development environments.
  • Monitors and collaborates internally to help resolve HelpDesk SAP tickets on a timely basis. SAP tickets are logged globally via IT HelpDesk.
  • Serve as a backup support to report troubleshooting.

Key Deliverables during First 12 to 24 Months

  • Develop SAP implementation and support project plan.
  • Conducts thorough problem analysis in regard to technical system troubleshooting, and proposes viable solutions and alternatives.
  • Collaborates with analysts, designers, and business owners in the testing of SAP programs and applications.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent.
  • SQL server-based SAP environments and applications, including configuration, troubleshooting, application level support and maintenance.
  • Strong development background, including client server models.
  • Five or more years of direct experience with SAP Administration, preferably Expandable SAP, including system administration and application development.
  • Advanced level of hands-on SQL scripting and development.
  • Excellent object-oriented design and programming skills.
  • Strong customer support skills, with commitment to quality service and on-time delivery
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with ability to constantly manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience building, utilizing, and supporting reporting tools, in conjunction with queries against ERP-related data sources.
  • Healthcare, medical device industry background/experience.
  • Ability to work with field offices considering cross-cultural sensitivities and respect at all times.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with aptitude for accuracy and details.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently; demonstrating initiative and creativity when solving problems.
  • Flexible with ability to meet deadlines and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Excellent diplomatic, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Strong initiative, assertiveness, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making and presentation skills.
  • Strong execution ability, with an energetic ‘can-do’ team player attitude, and an ability to drive and manage change is important.
  • Travel will be required to customer sites and Kallo office locations.
